Boston College Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts
George Arey has been named director of residential life. He has served as the interim director of residential life since October 2010. Arey previously held the positions of assistant director and associate director of residential life at Boston College. Prior to these roles, he worked in the housing and residential education program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Christopher Darcy has been promoted to associate director of residential life. In his position, Darcy will develop and direct the new Pathways Program, an approach to working with first-year students that is being piloted and launched this fall. Darcy’s 15-year tenure at Boston College includes various appointments within residential life as well as in the student programs office and the office of the dean for student development. He has also held positions at Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts, and Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. Catherine-Mary Rivera has been appointed as the Pathways Program manager. Rivera joined Boston College as assistant director of residential life in 2005 and has previously held positions in residential life at New York University and Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Steve Prue has been promoted to assistant director for assignments and operations. Prue previously worked within the residence life department at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey, and in housing and campus activities at the College of Aeronautics. Colleen Cimoch has been promoted to assistant manager for summer housing operations. Cimoch previously served as the summer housing and transitions assistant in the office of residential life. Gregory Whitmore is a new housing assignment specialist. Anya G. Villatoro is a new resident director. judicial affairs as well as having contracted oversight for health services and counseling services. Most recently, she served as assistant dean for residence life and housing at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). While at this institution, one of her primary roles was to implement the ACUHO-I standards, CAS standards, and industry-best practices in the areas of student housing, housing administration, food services, and health services. Fraser has 12 years of experience in higher education administration primarily in student housing management with additional experience in conference services, facilities planning, food services, budgeting, and technology implementation. Additionally, she has two years of corporate conference planning experience to complement her student affairs background. She received her bachelor’s in history from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and master’s in international affairs from Ohio University in Athens. She is an active member of ACUHO-I as a foundation donor/auction supporter, hosting the ACUHO-I staff at her institution in the UAE, and is constantly sharing her international housing experiences with colleagues. Additionally, her memberships include NASPA and, previously, NASPA-Gulf Region, where she was an active presenter of student affairs development at UAEU. She also has formally shared her Middle East student affairs experience as part of a panel at the 2010 NASPA conference.

Kevin Lee is the new community director of Chesapeake Hall. Jacki Gloger is the new assistant director for conferences and special projects. Gloger comes from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where she worked as the assistant director for student life for the school of public health.
