ASPPB-Professional Adv2:Layout 4 4/6/11 11:59 AM Page 1 Professional mobility is critical for psychologists. The Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) facilitates your mobility in a number of ways: The Certificate of Professional Qualification in Psychology (CPQ) program was designed to facilitate mobility for licensed doctoral psychologists. The CPQ allows psychologists licensed in one jurisdiction to more easily become licensed in another jurisdiction. Currently 55 of ASPPB’s 64 jurisdictions accept, recognize or are in the process of accepting the CPQ for licensure. The Credentials Bank offers safe long term storage for professional documents. The ASPPB Credentials Bank is the perfect place to electronically store and retrieve vital information when you need it (e.g. for licensing boards, hospitals, insurance companies). The Bank can store documents such as EPPP scores, transcripts, jurisprudence and oral examination scores, internship and postdoctoral supervised experience hours, post-licensure work experience, documentation of specialty training, or continuing education certificates. The Interjurisdictional Practice Certificate (IPC) is a mechanism for licensed psychologists to more easily practice temporarily in another jurisdiction. The IPC allows psychologists to provide temporary psychological services in jurisdictions that accept the IPC for at least 30 work days per year without obtaining licensure in that jurisdiction. www.asppb.net o 800-448-4069 For more information on Professional Mobility contact The Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) http://www.asppb.net http://www.asppb.net
