We seek faculty members with developing expertise in one or more of the following areas: clinical neuropsychology, assessment and intervention in trauma disorders, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and health/ primary care psychology. This program is a new and innovative clinical program jointly administered and delivered by the departments of psychology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) and University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). The UAF-UAA Ph.D. program in clinical–community psychology is a scientist-practitioner program in clinical psychology that seeks to educate scholars and clinicians who have strong commitments to research, evaluation, clinical practice, and community-based action, solidly grounded in the cultural psychology with a focus on rural, indigenous issues and an applied emphasis on the integration of research and practice. The program is currently seeking to be APA-accredited. Courses are taught across the two campuses via video conference and all program components are delivered by faculty at both campuses.
