Approximately 2,000 psychologists and students will participate in a three-day conference dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of psychological science. The conference features nine major invited addresses, 40 invited talks, symposia spanning all major areas of psychology, workshops on teaching and statistics, and presentations submitted by the membership. In addition, the Northeast Conference for the Teaching of Psychology will meet with NEPA on Oct. 12 and Psi Chi will hold a full day of programming on Oct. 13. The APA Distinguished Scientist Lecturer will be Howard Rachlin, PhD, of the State University of New York, Stony Brook.
