McAuliffe Practitioners cannot ignore the press of ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, social class, and religion in their clients’ lives. In this workshop, counselors will learn over 20 specific strategies for infusing culture into their work with discussion, presentation, and video demonstration. 2009. PRICE: $60 CE CREDITS 1 Making Research Relevant: Reflections From LGBT Community– Academic Partnerships in Ontario Presented by Robb Travers Drawing on Ontario research, Dr. Travers highlights current issues of concern to sexually and gender diverse communities, shares lessons learned from partnership processes, and reflects on their promise for systemic change. 2009.
