42 Dockside Synergy at Dockside Green Developing Synergy Dockside Green, a 15-acre master-planned waterfront community in Victoria, B.C., is one of the first projects to earn LEED Neighborhood Development Platinum certification. Synergy, a multiunit residential building in the community, also earned LEED Platinum by using innovative products, construction methods and technologies. Waterways course through Synergy to manage storm water, a biomass gasification system supplies energy from clean wood waste, and residents receive realtime energy data, which helps them to make smart choices regarding their energy use. 56 Golden Hill Office Center Lasting Performance Golden Hill Office Center is a 1980s building that outperformed conventionally designed office buildings of the era with respect to energy use. Twenty-eight years later, Golden Hill continues to outperform the majority of contemporary office buildings.
