Buffalo State offers a number of undergraduate programs that can’t be found at any other SUNY school, including communication design, creative studies, fashion and textile technology, fibers, forensic chemistry, metals/jewelry, urban and regional analysis and planning, and wood/furniture. Across the curriculum, Buffalo State is recognized for its excellence in teaching and scholarship. That means that while many of our faculty members are well known for their research or professional practice in their field, teaching remains their first priority. Buffalo State’s small classes—nearly 90 percent of all classes have fewer than 40 students—allow our professors to be accessible after class or during office hours and to know All College Honors. Each year, about 200 students are invited to participate in Buffalo State’s All College Honors Program.
