Magazines and Books

SAE	International	launched	its	first	 technology	Web	page	in	2010.	Centering	on	 vehicle	electrification	and	powered	by	SAE	 International’s magazine content, the Vehicle Electrification	site	features	books,	events,	 technical papers, research reports, standards and training opportunities related to vehicle electrification.	In	addition,	the	site	features	 magazine content from SAE International’s award-winning industry magazines.

SAE International’s three industry magazines — Automotive Engineering International, Aerospace Engineering and SAE OffHighway Engineering continued the “hybrid” model of print and digital formats throughout 2010.

New	in	2010	was	the	launch	of	SAE	 International’s new student-focused magazine, Momentum. Momentum features user-generated content from students Complementing	the	site	is	a	new,	all-digital	 and, along with its print version, featured a magazine	supplement.	The	first	edition	of	the	 digital	version	for	students	outside	of	North	 supplement featured the technology of the America. In addition, the magazine included Chevrolet	Volt.	There	will	be	four	supplment	 an optimized Web version for mobile devices issues of the magazine produced in 201 1, such	as	the	iPhone,	Android	and	Blackberry.	 with	topics	including	the	Nissan	Leaf,	battery	 technology and niche vehicles.
