Nestle Waters North America remained the largest bottled water company in the United States with sales of $3.8 billion in 2010 to claim 36% of the market. Its brands include Poland Spring, Arrowhead, Deer Park and Zephyrhills. According to SymphonyIRI, PepsiCo had the best-selling brand of PET bottled water for the 52 weeks ended Aug. 7, 2011. The Aquafina brand had sales of $352.4 million, which was a 0.4% drop in sales from the previous 52-week period. Dasani, a brand owned by CocaCola, gained 1% in sales to reach $301 million for the 52 weeks ended Aug. 7. Sales of Glaceau Vitaminwater dipped 3% to $280.1 million. Sales of Nestle’s Poland Spring brand also dropped 3%, to $257.5 million.
